Description
Pegasus is the best-known zero-click mobile spyware; its import/use in
the US was banned Nov 2021. NSO's 'Landmark' geolocation product was
nonetheless used against Mexican phone numbers by contractor Riva
Networks on behalf of a US government client a 2023 NYT investigation
identified as the FBI; Director Wray terminated the contract after
discovering the use. The FBI earlier (2019-2021) tested Pegasus before
deciding against deployment.
